Stanley Park..

From English Bay walk visit Stanley Park, the largest city park in Canada, and its famous totems. Stroll around Lost Lagoon for some bird watching, play pitch & putt golf, hike the park trails, visit the Vancouver Aquarium or perhaps take a horse trolley ride through the park! You can also walk, bike or rollerblade on the seawall surrounding the park.

Maybe sea kayaking for a day on the water, a golf game on one of many local courses or a hike in the nearby parks and mountains. We are also close to historic Gastown with it's cobble stone and steam clock whistle every hour on the hour, the only one of its kind in the world & Chinatown, second only to San Francisco's!

A drive across the Lions Gate Bridge takes you to the North Shore. The Capilano suspension bridge, Vancouver's oldest and most famous attraction! Cypress Mountain, Mount Seymour and Grouse Mountain which are the local mountains for skiing, snow shoeing, snow tubing, summer hiking and spectacular views of the city and the surroundings.

You can take a 20 minute ferry to beautiful Bowen Island and spend the day browsing, beaching or hiking. They have excellent restaurants and we can make arrangements for you to stay at a superb bed & breakfast for a night or two.
